What should you look for when selecting a qualified Jewelry Appraiser?
A qualified Jewelry Appraiser is more than a Gemologist!
Being a Graduate Gemologist is certainly the first step. A Jewelry Appraiser bases many diagnostic aspects of their appraisal on their gemology training.
Having Experience in the jewelry industry is key as well. Understanding manufacturing, materials, market trends and history are all key factors that are utilized in the appraisal process.
Specific Appraisal Training is paramount. A true and accurate appraisal takes into consideration the many legal issues associated with an accurate appraisal.
