From my point of view as a Designer/Goldsmith, each piece of jewelry we make is art—Wearable Art!

Created carefully and joyfully, considering each element for color and shape, we have the opportunity to work with the most beautiful elements Mother Nature has to offer! From the glimmer of gold to the sparkle of diamonds, including the magnificent array of colored stones, it is a career like none other!

My particular passion is to seek out the unusual! I love creating a piece with a colored gemstone that is seldom if ever seen in a regular jewelry store. I love finding an opal that has unusual patterns and colors that are so alive that it begs the viewer to stop and study it. I have abalone shell that looks like an ocean scene. It draws the client into a conversation, then the jewelry is more than pretty, it has a story. Jewelry should speak out! It should capture the imagination and cause the heart to quicken! Jewelry should Inspire!

I never wanted the ordinary, the trendy. There is enough of that in our lives. With so much beauty to behold in the gems that we use, and the creativity that adds to their beauty by the wonderful gem carvers in our industry today, ordinary is a word to be banned from our vocabulary!
